Author Description Sarah Cockburn (1939-2000) wrote under the pen-name Sarah Caudwell. She was a mystery writer. The four books of her "Hilary Tamar" series are her only novels other than <i>The Perfect Murder</i> which she co-wrote with several other novelists, but she also wrote several short crime stories.
